Soldiers of Fortune
There are at least three different bands/outfits that have operated under the name Soldiers Of Fortune.
Firstly, a 90s hip hop group on Vision Records.
Secondly, an unsigned rock band from Manchester, England.
Third, a Brooklyn based psychedelic rock and jam-band supergroup, featuring Brad Truax, Kid Millions (Oneida), Matt Sweeney (Chavez, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy), Mike Bones, Pat Sullivan (Oneida,Oakley Hall) and studio maven Barry London. An entity since 2004, the band has played sparsely, releasing the LP 'Ball Strenth' on Mexican Summer in 2011. The bands performances are improv and blues based, with southern rock and roll feel, rhythmic intensity, and extended solos. Read more on Last.fm.
